In addition to learning the lute, I have started formal vocal training.

for my concert today, and I have to say I was really surpised at the
huge difference that having matched instruments makes in the sound.
There just is nothing that sounds quite like that.

That is a wonderful thing. I recorded about 6 years ago the duets of
Valderrabano on a mathcing set of vihuelas, of different sizes. No,
I have a group duing them in a vihuela quartet. Yes, matching
instruments are wonderful.
