Hi all,
While in Paris I stopped at the Paris Opera and spotted this odd painting
of either an archlute or theorbo on the ceiling. Could anyone enlighten me
about this? Sorry the picture is blurry, the light was horri
Perhaps it means "My mother married me" or "My mother is married to me"
Moy is, I think, old French for me (modern being moi). The Marie has an
accent on it, perhaps the dot that Dana Emery saw, which would indicate
that it would be past participle, thus "My Mother married me". Just a

scholarship,
I have to limit instruments to +/- 3500 US dollars. I am also searching
for a lutenist in the DC/MD/Norhthern VA area to give lessons.
