If you really want to be sure of your print, take the files you outputted
from PDF995 and open each page separately in a vector based program like
Adobe Illustrator. Select everything on the page (ctrl-A), go to the Type
pulldown and then select create outlines. This vectorizes all type
settings are nice to play with the resonance of a d minor tuned lute. My
friend Temmo did not even really need the score to sing along.

There are a great many lutes being made from luthiers from all over these
days. Many
luthier's history, clientlist/discography, and websites basically speak for
themselves. For example Barber Harris was mentioned, and you couldn't go
wrong getting an instrument from a luthier like that.
