This won't help for Fronimo, but if you are on a Mac (10.4 or later, maybe even 10.3, I don't remember) and are having a problem like this, you can save the file as a PDF-X. Choose File-Print and when the print dialog appears pick Save as PDF-X from the PDF popup menu (bottom left). This

I've had good success with PDF Factory, although I use the PDF converter in inDesign. In the systems I use, there are also options to save the PDF as pure jpeg, no fonts. When I have to send someone a file where there are real compatibilty issues, I just use the print screen. On a PC, hit
