We are using GNU gettext in the LyX project and have to work around
several small problems with the configuration stuff of gettext 0.10.35
on some systems (handling non GNU make in Makefiles and shell oddities
in autoconf macros). Currently we use our own modified versions of
these files,
I get the following errors/warnings when compiling lyxstring.C with
cxx. Most of them (except for the incomplete type stuff) are a bit
problematic to me. Anyone cares to enlighten me?

Always a PITA, but it seems to be an area which could be improved in
LyX.
In particular, a way of select a phrase, e.g. Chocolate Cookies to be
indexed under Cookies. You guessed it, Alice is writing a cookbook. From

By the way, there's a bug in the 1.0.4 LyX. It goes like so: Right-Click
on a tabe to bring up the table dialog. Click on "destroy table". Or is it
delete? Anyway, that button, yes. Click it again to confirm. The table
will be removed, but the dialog window for the table will remain, with a
