Hi,
after successfully compiling the GTK version, the first thing I recognized
was a crash.
I did this: start LyX, open a new file, go to Documents -> Settings and
crash. I attach the usual information.

It is not possible to fax a document in 1.4. The reason is that faxing is
implemented as a converter from format "ps" to format "fax" that does not
convert anything, but only reads the source file and sends it away.
The exporter then wants to copy the result file of this conversion, and that

One better I'd say: Christmas release candidate
I've pushed pretty hard for this before, but I'd like to push again
before release: speed of LyX-1.4.0 on Mac OS X is not where it should
be.

Hello LyXers,
due to a nasty bug I was forced to publish a new version (0.51) right
after yesterdays release.
Changelog:
Version 0.51
- fix working directories of LyX's desktop and startmenu links
- increase default scale factor for Instant preview from 0.9 to 1.0

The references the linker complaints about are clearly there:

libXft.so.1 -> l

Updating the po files is the whole point of Michael's questions.
