Hi everybody,
I have encountered a bug at startup, that I have localized thanks to strace.
It seems that at startup, LyX tries to read the file ~/.lyx/session. LyX makes
a "stat64" on the files of the "[recent files]" section, and then on the
files of the "[cursor positions]" section. The permis
Hi everybody,
By using the SVN version (from about 2 days ago), I have found that a LyX
documents in a directory containing french accents prevents adding images
or "external material" in the document.
If I put a LyX document in this directory:

is quick.
Then I try to type a letter many times by keeping th
Hi everybody,
I use SVN versions of LyX (devel and 1.4.x).
I have no problem with 1.4.x in KDE or other Window managers.
But I have a speed problem with devel version (1.5), when LyX is launched in
KDE. Whereas when LyX devel is launched in Gnome or other WM, there is no
problem.
I thought that

Hi everybody
When I try to include this EPS figure in development version of LyX (fresh SVN
devel update), LyX crashes:
http://paratribulations.free.fr/help/problem_with_thiseps_inLyX/tourniquet.eps
On error output, LyX returns:

Hi everybody,
* First thing, to visualize Tgif .obj files in LyX, I had to change the filter
"Tgif -> PNG":
tgif -stdout -print -color -png $$i > $$o
to be replaced by:
tgif -stdout -print -color -ppm $$i | convert - $$o
I obtained an error with the first command.

Hello everybody,
I love LyX, I used it for my PhD thesis, it is a great tool for productivity
compared to pure LaTeX..
But, to increase the productivity a lot, I imagine often the possibility to
draw vector graphics directly in LyX, with the possibility to include
