'acroread', 'AcroRd32', 'mupdf', 'gv', 'ghostview'],
I also had to add the folder containing AcroRd32.exe
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader
to Settings - PathPrefix
Likewise, ghostview under Windows is named gsview32.exe (I hadn't
changed this yet).
Hope this helps.

AOO and LO help contain a comprehensive list of the formula sytax:
in Help - Formulas - General Information - Math Features
there is a hyperlink pointing to the reference list.
Examples:
a over b
sum from{0} to{n} x_{i}
int from{0} to{ infinity } x^{2}

e in OO.
And an equation created in Word is not editable in OO. Even worse, if
one uses the newer (Word 2007 and up) equation format (which is default
if one uses the .docx format), then saves as .doc, the newer equations
are irreversibly converted to pictures.
Hope that makes the problems more clear.

Windows version were updated, including the
documentation.
On the Mac, the installation of unoconv needs some tweaking,
which is described in the documentation, and it works only with
LibreOffice, not OpenOffice.

should rtf2latex2e be renamed to rtf2latex and replace the old stuff,
or
should rtf2latex2e and the other two packages remain as is?

Because also some helper programs are installed in the folder
"C:\PROGRA~1\latex2rtf", this folder must be the first in the search

in the 'PATH Prefix' line in Tools -> Preferences -> Paths.

... in addition to this, both \textsubscript and \textsuperscript are
supported by latex2rtf which is used by LyX to export to rtf.

Hello all,
we just finished a new release of the latex2rtf converter.
It is available from http://sourceforge.net/projects/latex2rtf
The package "latex2rtf-win-gui" contains the latex2rtf program
plus a Graphical User Interface (GUI) and an automatic installer.
It works for Win NT, 2000, XP, 2003,

add the latex2rtf folder only temporary to the path. The best way I see is to
use a batch script to first set the path then start latex2rt.exe.
Please let me know whether you can set up Lyx to launch latex2rtf via a batch
file.
