Thanks for all the replies. --with-included-boost didn't work -- tried it before writing to the list the first time. I'd bet it's the automake: the manual on gnu.org (for AM 1.7.5) includes the conditional construction which doesn't work for me. I'll ask the sysop to install the new version. Th

Hi, I've been off this list for a couple of years, so I'm not sure if this should have gone to bugzilla. In any case, I must be missing something obvious trying to recompile current CVS (freshly downloaded lyx-devel). It seems the most recent change to Makefile.am and config/common.am breaks thing
