Sorry, I didn't know that Win needs the pfm- AND the corresponding

Hello LyXers,
because some of you complain about the BaKoMa-license, I tried another way:
My MikTeX comes with the cm-fonts in Type1 format (pfb-files) created by
bluesky. I compiled the fonts for win2000 and winXP as installable
pfm-files.
Compiling for both systems was necessary because the fo
The license is granted for use with LyX. People who prefer
the other fonts may continue to do so. This is just a
replacement. It is, from my point view, o.k. that those
who would like to use LyX commercially should either
ask for permission themselves or stick with the inferior
fonts.
Anyway, an

Sorry, I should have been more clear. It does not matter _how_ the fonts are
used (pdf, printing, on-screen view), it only matters _that_ they are used.

IMHO no. The problem is that these fonts may not be used in any commercial
organization. From the license at

Thanks to Uwe for caring about these matters.
Die licence is granted for all versions of LyX.
I have referred to version 1.3.5. because other versions may require

Hello LyXers,
thanks to Ekkehart, the license problems of the modified TrueTypeFonts
taken from Bakoma are fixed. He asked the font designer Mr. Malyshev for
a permission and he accepted the attached license information. He also
gave the permission to provide the following font package for LyxWi

IMHO not, because of the license. I hope you all know that it is
problematic? Commercial use of these fonts (and even distribution on CDs
that cost a fee) is forbidden.
That means for example: I cannot produce pdfs with these fonts fo

Maybe Richard Kinch's True Type Fonts on his
http://www.truetex.com/ site should be considered:
1) http://www.truetex.com/um.zip
2) http://www.truetex.com/belleek.zip
These high quality fonts are in the public domain AFAIK.
The encoding is different from bakoma or the xft fonts
however.

There are currently some small errors int the ttf's. Ekkehardt send me

Hello LyXers,
LyXWin uses the LaTeX-XFT fonts in TrueType (ttf) format to render math
constructs. But these fonts are not correctly scaleable, e.g. the equal
sign "=" disappears when using different zooms for the screen font.
Ekkehart Schlicht (schlicht-at-lmu.de) send me now a modified cmr10
