High,
I have a problem with composing a certain table. Because LyX does not
like to have a table in a table, I did the following:
- Switch to math mode in the cell in question;
- Define an array of the necessary dimension;
- Write the entries in text mode.
Since the latter leads to mathrm, its f

Hello,
okay, okay, Windows is a crap, but I can´t avoid using it at work.
Since I have no developer-environment available, I´m looking for
a precompiled distribution of Lyx for Win32, using cygWin32 and
Cygnus' xlib.
Related question: Is there a xlib for Win32 which is _not_ connecting

Howdy,
What is the recommended way of incorporating formatted text. I'm doing
some technical documentation for a programming project and I'd like to
insert code and data structures into the docs. Currently I'm using LyX

Look for the draftcopy package at CTAN.
You could insert a call at preamble. Note that you will not se

I don't see anything wrong with \par. Why is it ugly? Besides being more clear
than the \n, it's a plain TeX command, hence absolutely robust.

Hi,
I'm trying to use the pstex format (exporting from XFig) as suggested in
the users' guide to get the same fonts throughout the document (looks
_really_ nice!).
I have one problem that I do not understand, though. In one document I get
the error:
