I have a situation here where a figure is placed at the bottom of a page _below_ the footnotes which go on this page. For float placement I have specified "htb". Does anybody know how to avoid this? From my perspective, footnotes should really be at the bottom of a page. -- Friedemann Baitinger

Annother feature would be the option to remove words you added to your dictionary. Because I am sloppy at 3.00 in the morning, I sometimes hit "add to dictionary" on a word that shouldn't be added. That word then keeps coming up in the list of suggestions, and it gets missed on subsequent spellche

How do I stop table linebreaks introducing a \smallskip{} ?

Hi all I am trying to generate a table using the linebreaks option. My problem is that when lyx creates the \parbox it also adds a \smallskip{} at the beginning and end of the paragraph. This places spaces at the top and the bottom of the cell--a feature I don't want as none of the other
