Hi,
With help from the tex-fonts list, I think I have a solution to the problem
that I'd written about earlier - that is, that the computer modern fonts
are thin when printed on low-res printers (not a fault of the font, that's
how they are meant to be).
But, it's possible to tweak the modes.

text in LyX),
Let me share with you how you can configure Linux + LyX in order to get
proper functioning with Hungarian text.
Here is the problem:
1) If you install Linux (I have experience about Red Hat 7.2) with
Hi,
In part of my article class document, I inserted a c++ source code. I use
insert -> ascii as lines. Then I blocked all the inserted code, and choose
lyx-code in the environment. The inserted code, somehow, has the protected
space all over the place. So the formatting layout looks right in L
Cool, Thanks! now it works!

Below is the output if I press a` which should produce à,

Hi,
Forgive me if this is a rather elementary question.
I use LyX to produce letters in Welsh and have been doing so for some
time. Recently I decided to modify (by copying and modifying) the
g-brief-en class to give me better formatted output. This went more or
less without a hitch, given
Arghh! The compose key, which worked perfectly with earlier versions
of LyX, does not work with Lyx-1.2.0pre4 [Sparc-Solaris-8,
xforms-89.6].
I'd appreciate help or suggestions on getting this to work. Thanks,

- M-d is bound to "word-delete-forward" in emacs.bind, which I use.
It worked fine in earlier versions of LyX, but in LyX-1.2.0pre4,
pressing M-d opens the Documents menu and changes the cursor to =>.
- I have bound M-v to "scre
