FWIW I wound up reinstalling my system because I was beginning to have
problems with data corruption on the root partition. I don't know what the
source of that is though. The fonts now are no problem, so the two may be
related... :(
Thanks for the input, Dekel.

Hi!
I am using Lyx 1.2.1 on a SuSE-Linux system to write my doctoral dissertation. Since I
live in Germany I have to use a certain citation-style with Bibtex (I build my .bib
database with pybliographic). This style is called dinat.bst. They are telling me,
that it only works with the natbib-pa

I sporadically had the same problem. Restarting lyx helped in most cas
Two additional ideas that may be useful to those using LyX on MacOSX:
- Xdvi, at least the fink installation, is flakey on MacOS 10.2. A
better solution for viewing DVI on the Mac is MacDviX, available from

Greetings,
This is of interest to me also. Last week I was testing out X terminal
software for MS Windows. I set up my RedHat 7.3 desktop (where I
normally run LyX on the console) as an XDM server and set up the X
terminal software on a laptop running Windows 2000.
I logged into my desktop via t
Dear LyX-Users:
With reference to LyX version 1.2.0 of Thu, May 23, 2003,

The very first time that I do a VIEW DVI for an open LyX document I get an alert
message for each and every included .eps file. The message states
that LyX cannot copy the .eps file

I have had the same problem. For me it disappeared after I ran

Hope this helps.

Hi!
I would like to write a glossary in Lyx (to take advantage of the nice
equation formatting) that I would convert to html with latex2html.
Any ideas on how to go about that?
TIA

Hi,
When compiling a docment, I have the following error:
"LaTeX capacity exceeded, sorry [main memory=351000]"
I know that it can be change, but I don't remember the name of the config file
and the command to run after the changes to make it effectiv.
Anyone an idea?

Hello.
This is yet another report on a problem which was
reported before, e.g. http://www.mail-archive.com/lyx-users@lists.lyx.org/msg20321.html
I can not retype the same key more than once.
Running lyx with debug mode 4 shows

I have a problem. I've followed the following help for including of latex
figures from xfig into lynux:
"Export the figure as LaTeX. This is just as easy include into LyX, with
the advantage that you may use all LaTeX commands within the text inside
XFig. Therefore you have to set the special flag
