Have a look at the bibentry package which is bundled with natbib.

I wonder whether we should set up some article layout especially for .pdf
generation. Remembering which package is prefered and which is obsolete
is a bit tricky.

Is there anyway to use antialiased in the current version of lyx?
I found an old mail about a patch to support this
(http://www.mail-archive.com/lyx-devel@;lists.lyx.org/msg24904.html), but
I haven't found any information about wether the ability made it into
the code. :(
So, is there anyway t

Hi.. how do I cite the full text of a reference and not just the

This is great Christian! Thanks a lot for sending this out.. It's very
useful.. I made a minor change in outline.inc so that the end of the

Hello Lyx users,
I am glad to inform you that I have made an update to the layout the lettre

Hi everyone.
I have a quetsion about setting up a layout. Actually, I have problems with
defining my heading. I am writing a two/threesided paper for lecture. I
want some basic data to be printed in the heading - as follws:
the Institution:
the name of the course
the host
my name
and after that
I have a problem that lyx does not pass the directory information to the
file converters. i.e. $$i and $$o do not contain the full path of the
files, therefore "convert" can't find them.
If lyx is started from the directory these files reside in, the converter
finds them.
Is there a way to fix

I've had this installation for over a month or so, however I didn't try
to use it until recently. After the original installation, I had
upgraded my system to the latest version of cygwin.. I hope that didn't
cause the problem.
The only difference I observe with your configuration is that I u

Hi,
I'm running lyx1.2.1 on Cygwin running on Windows XP Home.
My problem is Lyx only seems to compile with latex the first time I
run view-dvi or update-dvi (or view-ps etc). W

In the extended manual, several tricks are suggested to get good
displays in Acroread. I tried them, none worked. However since I use
times font, I have included in the preamble, \usepackage{times} it
works pretty fine. This could be suggested in the documentation.

I solved the problem myself.
Step1: Disable the keymapping stuff (this causes the strangest problems)
Raul,
Firstly, sorry for confusing you with llncs.sty!. I really meant llncs.cls.
Anyway, here is what I did to get the llncs style working. I assume that you
are working on linux.
1. As root, install the attached llncs.cls file (also available at the
springer web site) into /usr/share/texmf/tex/
