Dear Uwe, Thanks for your help. This figure is still rotated in my PDF output from LyX. My Mac OS X 10.4.3 can't open the PostScript file, which is strange. dvipdfm (from LyX) continues to give me errors ("Cannot convert file"). pdflatex rotates the .pdf file and gives me a "cannot convert
