Windows installation problem

2006-11-15 Thread Ian Riley
Installing LyX from lyx-143-5.exe on two different Windows machines (XP and Win2000), both resulted in an error, "LyXTextClassList::Read: no textclasses found!", each time it is run. Reinstallation did not resolve the problem. LyX installs and runs flawlessly under Dapper Ubuntu at home.
