Using Lyx 1.4.4 [14/02/2007] with Debian testing. Using article [koma script]. Can someone please point me to the preamble or ert which will allow me to have a header on the first page but not the second or subsequent pages? \afterpage{\thispagestyle{plain}} This works in a fashion, but leave

I think the arabi package was installed correctly, since MiKTeX didn't give me any errors. I don't know how else to check if it is correctly installed (it has about 207 files.) I tried reinstalling it, but I obtain the same results. Furthermore, I spoke too soon when I said that just typing worked

Hi, if the file is inside a float, you can mark the float or the image and then choose Edit --> Paragraph Settings to set the alignment to "Centered". Alternatively, you might consider to put the file in a \resizebox similar to the steps described here: http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/Tables#toc17.
