Hi all,
I'm using MacBook box that is acting as workbench for a number of TeX
distributions. I've also started LyX on the same box.
Please, how do I set up which LaTex distribution will be used by LyX?
Thanks!

Hi list,
I'm a Lyx user, not much intensive, however when I have to elaborate

comfortable with it, in spite of I have no idea about LaTeX.
I use Lyx 1.5.1 over Gnome in F7 at the moment.

I think the arabi package was installed correctly, since MiKTeX didn't
give me any errors. I don't know how else to check if it is correctly
installed (it has about 207 files.) I tried reinstalling it, but I
obtain the same results.
Furthermore, I spoke too soon when I said that just typing worked

The question is probably to know why setspace is not there.

Hi All
Does anyone use ConvTex to convert from LyX to OpenOffice via Latex?
(see http://wiki.lyx.org/Tools/LyX2OpenOffice)
When I do this, I find that % signs in the .tex file (exported from LyX) are
ignored when the file is converted to an OpenOffice .sdw file.
Has anyone else found this min
Hi,
if the file is inside a float, you can mark the float or the image and
then choose Edit --> Paragraph Settings to set the alignment to "Centered".
Alternatively, you might consider to put the file in a \resizebox
similar to the steps described here:
http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/Tables#toc17.

The message is pretty clear: you have to install the LaTeX package setspace.

Hi everyone,
I use Lyx 1.5.1 on a Windows XP system.
After changing the line spacing from 1 to 1.5 in my document, the file
preview (CTRL + D) doesn't work anymore.
I get the message: Lyx: Output is empty. and the error message:
