Can I a) save b) export c) edit a document in MS Word (.doc) format in LyX? This depends upon exactly what you want to do. If the situation is that you have a Word document and you want to import it into LyX, then this can be done, though not directly, as there's no good converter chain

Header/footer orientation in landscape child document

Hi, I have a Master document which is in Portrait orientation, and a child document that I need in Landscape. I am also using fancy header option under Document class. I am able to set the child document as Landscape (found the answer in the archive), but the headers and footers still remain in
