I had a big problem with the use of the new LyX 2.3 bundle.
The installation by itself went fine, side by side with the current LyX
2.2.3 version, using my existing local Miktex 2.9 distribution. But the
compilation with LyX 2.3 of any document failed with a report of a problem
on pdflatex.exe

I've done 2 installations, both against TexLive 2017:
1. Windows 10 running natively on a new Dell laptop with Kaby
Yesterday I installed lyx 2.3.0 without any problems.
