That's the whole error -- it is cut off. One change I made is python
2.4 was not in the path, but then I did put 2.5 in the path. I'm
guessing the two python 2.5 installs are fighting with LyX. What's
the best way to resolve this?

I just installed LyX 1.4.3-5 on windows XP, with the bundle so I
made sure to get miktek installed, etc. However, when I open a new
file with the hollywood template, I get an error message:
The document uses a missing TeX class hollywod. LyX will not be able
to produce output.

I've found linux to use spaces better, which is funny. It's funny because

Yup. The standard was developed for manual typewriters, and that shows
you how many carriage returns you need between lines.
It's also, I suspect, why the paragraphs are always left-justified with
the margin:
