help with emacs.bind

I have copied the file "emacs.bind" into my directory, ~/.lyx/bind/emacs.bin but when I restart lyx, the emacs bindings are not there. This seems so simple? What am I doing wrong? Anna

Caption on figure

I am using: Version 1.1.5fix2 on Linux. When I load an eps file using the figure option, there is a place where I can put in a caption for the figure. When I do that...nothing happens. It's as if I didn't type anything in at all. Has anyone else had this problem? Anna P.S. I'm not enc

double lines at the top and bottom of tables?

Is it possible to put double lines at the top and bottom of tables? I know that I can do this for all of the other lines in the table, but I only need it for the top and bottom lines...and can't seem to figure that out. Anna
