I am using LyX 2.3.7 under the latest MacOS.
I have a Libreoffice spreadsheet with many links to LyX documents. When I click
on such a link, it does launch LyX and the associated document. But several
functions (Python-related, I guess) are missing: shortcuts and (more
importantly) lyx2

I have recently noticed a small annoyance (LyX 2.3.7, MacOS 14).
It’s about the folder where the various PDF previewers save their files by
default. They always revert to a /lyx_tmpbuf0 (e.g.) which is rather deeply
nested below the LyX temp directory, either the one chosen f

I have recently upgraded my MacBook to MacOs 14 “Sonoma” last week (right from
12).
LyX (2.3.7) was one of the main apps that I have tested; it appeared to work
well at first glance. But only today I have noticed a couple of issues, mainly
shortcuts, but possibly related:

I'm still rather new to using LyX on a Mac, and I have a couple more
questions, here is the 1st:

They are not hidden, but the Mac file browser adds a subtitle to them:
"non admissible" (in French.
