Visible carriage return

? Is it possible that Lyx shows a special character, or something similar, to let you know where you put a blank line (I mean something like the carriage return in WORD, that can be visible or it can be hidden)? Best regards Giorgio Zavarise

Inserting display formula

I have a perhaps simple problem, but I am not able to solve it: when you insert a display formula you can either press first a carriage return, or not. If you press a carriage return this corresponds into an empty line in the LateX file, hence this results into a bit more space between

Is there any possibility to use LyX just as a tool to generate equations to be included in Keynote? I am using LaTeXiT for this scope, but there you have to type the LaTeX commands (and I am using LyX just to avoid it). Best regards Giorgio Zavarise
