Macro definition not possible (Mini-buffer access)

2002-06-12 Thread Joachim Mispel
Hi, although lyx 1.2.0 runs relatively smoothly, I just discovered that I can't define new math macros. If I click with the mouse on the mini- buffer, nothing happens. Does anybody else experienced the same problem under RH 6.2? And is there a solution? Joachim

Problems with 1.0.2 on remote machine

2002-06-06 Thread Joachim Mispel
Now that everything is running smoothly on the RH 6.2 system, I tried to run it on the SUN workstation in my room via remote login. As soon as I start it, I get the message In MapColor [flcolor.c 816] ColormapFull. Using subsititutions and still everthing is ok. But as soon as I start loading a

Tim and Richard, there is a remark in Kayvan readme that notes he uses RedHat Linux/GNU 6.2. Then, did he really use the same compiler, i.e.egcs release 1.1.2? What compiler are you using Tim? Joachim

1.2.0 installation problems

2002-06-05 Thread Joachim Mispel
Hi, I have tried to install 1.2.0 on our local Redhat 6.2 system with egcs release 1.1.2, but without luck. What can I do to install the new version? My problems: 1) When I tried to install lyx-1.2.0-1.i386.rpm, I get the message that libstdc++-libc6.1-2.so.3 is required 2) Then I tried to loc

Rotated Page in PDF File?

2001-10-04 Thread Joachim Mispel
Hi, I have a few pages in my thesis that are formatted in landscape. I would like to have them rotated automatically when the pdf file is viewed with e.g. acroread. Some documents have this feature but I could not find anything in the documentation. Does anybody know the necessary latex/pdf com
