that was the exact dimensions (i.e. same number of rows and columns) of what I was trying to paste and didn't seem to have any troubles. Hey all, I am writing my thesis at the moment and I need to have the Abstract, Title page, Lists of Tables and Figures, etc to be unnumbered. That is I need the numbering to start at chapter one and have the first pages numbered i,ii,iii,iv etc. How do I do this? I looked at the help etc but

to the Lyx directory in to the bibtex folder and the tex directory. The files then turned up in lyx but when I tried to use them it said it couldnt find the .sty file. All i would like to know is where the files are supposed to go. As I cant seem to make sense of it. Thanks, = -: TOBY ALLEN
