Hello,
If I start LyX from a terminal (Kubuntu 14.04.1 LTS) this is appearing
Color.cpp (399): ColorSet::getFromLyXName: Unknown color ind1
and shown repeatedly as soon as I touch or do something in my lyx document.
I did not find any help in the internet.
Has somebody an idea what it means
P.s.
I just found out that this does not happen with other documents which I
tried.
So I guess I have to strip it down to a minimal docu and see whats going
on.
Or does somebody has an idea where to look for?

I checked the /usr/lyx content and they are all from the former 2.0.6
version, not from the new
I have installed the ubuntu trusty binaries for the 2.1.1 LyX release on
my kubuntu Linux using the instructions given including apt-get update.
How do I now get the new LyX? Typing lyx gives me my old Lyx1.06.

Hello,
a svg graphic can apparently be imported into a Lyx document. However,
it seems it is converted into bitmap if exported eg by pdflatex. Is that
true?
In case, somebody is familiar with xcos/scilab, can the text of a model
figure be set (externally?) in latex?
Are there plans to call up

I forgot how to proceed in lyx if I do not want to show figures, but
instead boxes only, in order to reduce the size of the file. Something
with draft (but not the inclined draft marking of the pages!). Could not
find it in the help files. A pointer is appreciated

, that it worked without the draft. Will try to find
the figure(s) by exporting as a tex file and looking for begin frame.
Will come back
