Layout File Location

I last used LyX in mid 2008, and only for one paper, so I have limited experience with LyX. Must say, the paper came out better than I had expected, since I come from a WYSIWYG background, instead of a WYSIWYM background. Some here will perhaps recall that my previous experience is with Ventura
