Hello, Is there an X-server for windows98 that is free? I can use X-win32 but would prefer a fully functional server that is not, as a friend of mine calls it "cripple ware." In part the request is because I want to respect software developers (I register shareware I continue to use)

I can't find Xreflect anywhere (do you have a link? ) and I am currently trying VNC which is supposed to work real nice, but I can't get it to work. Does anybody have any instructions on how to use VNC as an x-server for lyx? Thanks, -Mario

I'm using the Win32 port of LyX on a machine which also is hooked up to a network. This causes a problem with X-Win32 X-server: Only one person at a time on a node can use the X-win32, so if someone else is using X-win32 I get an error message and X-win32 shuts down. This even though I am

I fixed it. The X server I use allows a couple of different options of which two are: 1) let WindowsNT manage the X windows programs or 2) use a window manager (e.g. KDE, Gnome, etc.) to manage the X windows programs. When I use the second option, LyX works just great including working with
