Mike, M102, and it was running its own monitoring program, that's how it (I) knew run time. When it pooped out, the last time was recorded. It was, in fact , monitoring its own battery voltage via an ADIOS. One might argue that the RS-232 ate some power, but it was only OPENed when making

Was this an M100 or a 102, and what if anything was it running? Looks like an app for the ADIOS ;-) m - Original Message - From: John Whitton To: Model 100 Discussion Sent: Tuesday, December 08, 2015 11:04 PM Subject: Re: [M100] M100 power requirements *?* Hmm. I d

For some reason I've not encountered this implementation of GW-BASIC before. It looks really great, I'll take a closer look. David Szasz kirjoitti 8.12.2015 kello 12.13: > I found this application PCBasic a GW-Basic Emulator recently and installed > it yesterday in my "distro" : Linux Mint 17.

*?* Hmm. I do not recall, but I'm betting that the supply was tied to the battery terminals, otherwise I would have had to make up a pigtail to use the jack. I wouldn't bet my life on that... As an aside, I attach here a plot of battery voltage vs. time. This was recorded using fully c

Awesome, thank you. Any idea if this was measured with supply connected to the dc jack or the battery terminals? On Dec 8, 2015 5:53 PM, "John Whitton" wrote: > FWIW, find attached a .pdf graph of M102 power consumption. This was > compiled 6 years ago (hard to believe). > > John W. > > - Ori

I just tested the power requirements of my 102. With the battery connectors connected to a bench supply at 5 volts, it draws a very consistent 65mA. I was expecting the current to vary slightly with CPU or screen activity but it does not. I'm so used to CPU idle states which, of course, the 8085 do

I found this application PCBasic a GW-Basic Emulator recently and installed it yesterday in my "distro" : Linux Mint 17.2 . You may find it of use... It allows one to write and run GW-Basic code native in Linux without WINE or Crossover and versions are avail
