There is the Cambridge Z88 or Amstrad NC100, quite the same form factor. But
they are younger and so more evolved and complex. so you get different feeling

Count me psyched myself. I would love to have a Z80 machine in the M100 form
factor.

Nah, just kiddin' ya...;-)
You and Philip have done an amazing job and it certainly sounds like there's a
fair bit of interest; kudos to both of you!!

yah I am quite satisfied with the effort, and encouraged. This idea
hatched a year ago and it fell from my active thinking for a while. Now
that CP/M is really here (beta unit being evaluated now), I became
interested in getting this to work again.

From the perspective of someone outside the project, this visual evidence is
amazing!
Running Turbo Pascal is reason enough for me! Fond memories for me on Computer
Science classes
I am fully prepared for the idea that my projects are potentially for me
only.
Just FYI, I just now ran Turbo Pascal on M100.

screen is blurry because it was scrolling
so that is Turbo Pascal 1.0 on CP/M, on "Z80" on M100.

Hey guys!!
Many thanks - extraordinarily helpful!!!
One thing I will say, is that I appreciate that all the information I need is
inevitably out there, but even in the context of this group, searching for it,
knowing it when I find it, and understanding what I'm reading is far less
obvious
Windows? Do people still use that? :)

Sounds great Steve, keep us updated on this. You may have mentioned this
before, but do the two processors share the bus simultaneously, or is only one
or the other (like a Commodore 128)?

Hello all,
Interesting update.
So, I've been working on getting NSC800 AKA Z80 processor to work in the
M100 such that it can be used in CP/M as an alternative processor.
Great news is that I now have a solution for actually running the M100
using the NSC800! Not that it really matters; there are
