Yes. If I can't get it converted to a binary, I can certainly at least make
the audio recording available -- probably on archive.org along with the
magazine scans, etc. I'm assuming that a 102, even if the resulting code
didn't work, could at least decode the tape to binary/text.

Josh - When I moved late last year I had that NEC cassette you guys
are talking about. When I find it I'll mail it to you, if you're willing to
make digital copies available - There's a bunch of useful stuff on the
tape - Bank Switching under pgm control, for instance...

I was just offering that I can digitize tapes easily if others have tapes
that need scanning. Offer stands.

If this tape is particularly rare, then we might want to use some better
shipping method than USPS. Although USPS priority might be reasonable.

That would be great Josh. I just need the one file COD.DO. Apparently that's
the CODE 3 of 9 driver for the NEC.

So I tried using my CCR-82. Seems like it needs its belt(s) replaced.
If I can dig up another cassette player I may just rip the whole tape into
Audacity and
I'll let you both know if it turns up. Glad to know it's out there.

Apparently the file I am looking for is named COD.DO and it's on the cassette
