Got my Jambox today and everything was working well until I switched off
for a while to give the unit some charge and then switched on again
after 2 hours, nothing happened and no 2 beeps after the bass sound.

I'm no DB expert, but I would think not.
Typically, the installation puts the folder in your Home folder. If you had
chosen the "Advanced" setup, you could have specified where the folder was to
go. I think moving it manually would break the link.

Acutally If you change it you should still be able to sunch it. Try rerunning
the installer the way they specified and do that.
I've been using db for about 2 years now and as long as youmove the folder in
advanced you can still synch.

I think you have to be in iTunes when you set remote up. I admit to having
sighted help to set up emote on my mac and the airport though.

Interesting… Thanks for the info. I found that it was already connected but I
hadn't realized it. I had gone to settings on the iPad and clicked add library
thinking I had to do some set up but actually it found my Mac automatically.

I just got today's MacUpdate promo app, AirServer. This is an interesting app
because it lets you use iOS apps that support AirPlay and direct the output to
your Mac. With the iOS 5 update that splits off the sound of VoiceOver, and
also improves the responsiveness of streaming, this
