Try turning cursor tracking off, that made it work for me in the Notes
application.

When the article mentions about unhiding an update, this is under the store

When I do a command y on a highlighted message with an attachment in Mail and
go to the "Open file" button, I get an error, mail crashes and I am asked to
reopen it. This is repeatable on multiple attachment messages and happens each
and every time. Any suggestions or knowledge of this bug?
