Laurel, I think it would be best to keep the discussion onlist. There are several others who may benefit from the information. Honestly, It's not a bother to have an extended discussion on this topic onlist. That's what the list is for, to make a public record of the information we all need.

I won't be using the DJay Mic system. We have a nest of 4 K500 broadcast microphones around studio B and 6 around studio A which is also the master control room. There's a spare channel on the mixer desk so all I'm going to do is run a mini-jack from the computer into the desk. That way I hav

Yes you can. but keep an eye on time as you talk or what ever, if you you do a timed show. and if you change your playlist hit cmd shift r to refresh the djay library. it will not stop tracks. do not how ever change your mic in mid stream. It will stop playback. I found this out the hard way wh

lol. You can either commit your playlist to memory or make a silence track so you don't over talk your time. I've done both. I also will turn off auto mix at the last track I know is playing which can be confusing as most of the time the auto mix table is empty 2 tracks ahead of what I'm hearin
