Hi all
This may not be possible, I don't know but thought I'd post it anyway. Does
anybody know whether it's possible in Mail to attach or embed an image into the
messages created using only one account? I'm guessing that in order to do
this, you'd have to use HTML format. This is something
Hi Gordon,
As I understand it, you need to ensure your message is set to use Rich
Text Format. You can then place the cursor where you would like the
image/photo to be and then insert it at that place.
Hope that is what you are wanting to know and that the information is
correct.

Hi Roger
The problem is that this doesn't work for Windows users I believe. What I'm
after is a way to have this done automatically for one account, but not others.
Thanks.

Hi Gordon,
Just a thought.
What would happen if you tried sending yourself a message from Mac Mail
to a PC you might have with an image inserted?

Hi Amy,
It took me a while to find this, since this isn't something I use to change the

Hi Roger
At the moment we don't have any PC's with Mail installed. All of our mail is
Mac-based, so it would be a little difficult to try. I'm not sure actually
whether such images are treated as attachments or whether they appear within a
message. This actually brings up a good point. I

Just another follow-up suggestion for writing APA formatted papers. I was

I think, but im not sure, that serial mail will do this. I'm horrible at
syntax xo never got it to work and my recipients have gotten blanks. lol!
I really don't know if there is a way. Can you state an example of what you
want to have accomplished?
Good luck.

If you mean inline attachments, I'm not sure that works on other platforms

The concept here is really simple. For an account Gordon needs to use for work,
he requires that a photo be attached to all mail. This is one way that the
company can validate the sender of mail, and it's their policy.
Of course, we know that there are better ways; but that's how

It is also important to distinguish here between Personal Hot Spots, which is
what you are describing, and Hot Spots which are part of VoiceOver. Hot
spots allow you to mark places on the screen for later use. Personal Hot Spots
do as Glenn describes below.
