Hi,
I frequently have the habit of accidentally typing the second letters
of words as capitals as well as the first, I suppose because I type
quite quickly. I've noticed that, when just arrowing up and down
lines of text, VO doesn't read such words any differently to normal.
I have to arrow
Hello,
I have a new iPod Nano 7 and the latest level of iTunes and other software on
my iMac.
The iPod Nano works fine except for playing videos . I am trying TV programs
with audio description which I downloaded using get iPlayer automator on my
iMac and then transferred to the iPod Nano
It's in the verbosity settings under voice over utility under I believe
announcements. You can have it play a tone but I'm sure you might be able to
hear it with hope vs HOpe, which is one of my more common ones. lol! I have it

OK, am I a complete idiot, because I can't make head nor tail of this!
If I interact with the header or footer and enter text, it appears in
the body of the text and not the header or footer!
Can anyone help me?

Hello Catherine,
Try looking in the VO Utility, Verbosity, and on the Text tab. You can ask VO
to play a tone, which is my personal favourite. But there are other options.

Glenn, I just now got that. What seems to be happening here is that I'll
fill in the fields and it won't recognize the fields to be filled in,
somehow. I could not get it or Tap Tap See to read the red fields.
Another thing that is weird is that I am using an iTunes gift card to

I wonder if you need to hold the camera closer to the devices screen, and
give it time to focus on it.
It may have been too far away for the reader to see the print.
The nice thing about the app VisWiz, you can give an auditory question, and
say:
Which fields are in red?
The VisWiz app is free.
Lol. yeah that's where it is. I have it actually turned off as I just spell
check most of the time and I don't' even pay attention to the tone or the word
misspelled anymore as I tuned it out. I to also type way too fast for my own
good but want to type even faster. 66.5 wpm is dreadful.
Hello Brenda. That is not where you put the itunes gift card
information. You have to go to redeem gift card in Itunes.. There is a
way to redeem them with the mac's camera or you could just enter in the
information from the card. That may be part of what is going on. Also to

The app is really good, the best there is, I'd say. There aren't that many
choices between voices, but its fair I suppose. NeoSpeech and Acapella are the
companies you get voices from, I wish they could have added eSpeak or some
others, but what we have is, I suppose, all the developer can work
I saw that. I think this is cool.
Even though I didn't get help with it, i like it. It looks good.
Now, I'll tell ya. Problem is solved. Seems that, in the cards options,
there was the Visa card checked, for one thing. I didn't need it checked but
for a long time, i could not uncheck
Matthew, no, i couldn't figure out what to do, because the thing was
defaulting to Visa. I didn't want any of those cards. There's a little:
none
button in there somewhere. It's almost obscure. I hit that and problem
solved.
Thanks,
Brenda

Voice dream is a really good app. If Ivona ever makes their voices available to
IOS, my major reason for using an android device, i.e. reading books from
bookshare and Nook, will be gone.
