hey guys this has prob been asked before, but i am looking for a way i can put
epub file formated books from my mac air to my ipad mini. i have some books
ffor an english course i need to read. if you can point me in the right
direction that would be great.

Hi Brian,
I nearly always put my iMac to sleep rather than shut it down. I do this
because it is then much quicker to startup the next day. I just have to enter
my password to startup. the disadvantage of sleep mode is that the computer
does consume a small amount of power while asleep.

I shut down my mac but that's my own choice and this is coming from
using i.t. for years. Maverix is the next major update to Os X.

preference. I normally shut down or restart all of my computers, tablets and
smartphones at least once a day, but I'm a an old IT guy who was burned once
too often by operating systems that would not reliably wake up

to import the prefs you can go to file, import and follow the prompts, you do
this from the voice over utility. I believe the key board short cut is cmd
shift I, but just in case that does not work it is is under file menu.
