Keep in mind though. As mentioned yesterday on list, there are apparently
different models of this unit, so don't think that you're necessarily always
gonna get the same thing discussed in this review, nor by Dane directly.

Maybe try the following steps. These assume the current stable build of Chrome
running under MacOS 10.9.2. Also, since you will be using VO during the process
of initially installing ChromeVox, keep in mind that VO does not always work
the same in Chrome as it does in Safari or straight webkit.
I would contact the google chrome list as they are the ones that handle chrome

Hi everyone. I’m trying to install Chromevox but I think I’m a bit lost. The
Chromevox website at http://www.chromevox.com says to activate the “Add to
Chrome” button, but I’m not finding that. Where might I be going astray here?
Here is where I went to try and get Chromevox.

While I don’t think I’ve personally encountered this with the Item Chooser, I
have experienced it when using the Web Rotor, particularly when listing Static

Hi!
I mentioned that I bought one of these boomers yesterday and wrote up some
initial notes on my impressions of the Boom, how it worked with an iPhone etc.
I've since found a review of the product for those who may be interested in
making the same purchase or for getting something similar.

I think the link will give you that info too.

I would second Sarah’s suggestion of installing the ChromeVox extension. If you
visit www.chromevox.com you will find a link to install the extension, a guide
to the chromevox keyboard shortcuts, and a nice interactive tutorial to help
you get up and running quickly with ChromeVox.

Nope. You need to activate chrome vox. then voice over will just auto quick
talking. I dunno how it works, but it works if you want to use it. You do not
have to though as chrome is getting way better and has been ever since I
started using it in 2012.

So if I’m using Chrome and just toggle VoiceOver off, will the other one start
talking? Now you’ve peaked my interest, lol! I have been using Chrome on here
along with Safari, and I actually like both. My life-skills tutor is the one

I use chrome vox when needed. It is an extension that runs when your screen

If not, then all voice over tricks and tips should still work in google chrome.

I just installed Google Chrome on the MacBook Air. Are there any tips and
tricks I should know about using it? Any settings that would make it more
accessible? I’ve already made it the default browser.
Thanks.

Possibily the server was down, or maybe all your computer needed was a complete
shut down to be able to function correctly.

If no such slider exists, I'm not sure there is a way to do this.

Hello,
I am running the latest IOS 6 on my iPhone 3GS.
One of my favourite apps has a button which VO voices as "slide to stop". Is
there a gesture which will achieve this? I have tried double tapping and
flicking in all directions with 1 finger and with 2 fingers but to no effect.

I am talking about listening to radio via Safari. I would be using the BBC
iPlayer and there will be a volume slider on it so that I would be
increasing radio volume rather than also increasing voice over volume.

If you’re talking about iTunes Radio, command-up arrow will increase the
volume, and command-down arrow will decrease it. I’m not sure how to do this in
any other apps as I haven’t tried them yet. Hth.

If I am listening to the radio and want to increase the volume, how do I do
this independent of the voice over volume please?

Use web rotor instead vo-u. I get something almost the same if I press

restarts VoiceOver!
