I seem to be notified every time I get a new mail message, which is extremely
annoying especially if I’m already in the mail app.
How do I turn this off?
I thought this might be an issue with notification centre, but I’ve already had
a look in there and mail isn’t included in that lot.

Personally, I like IOS 7.
some of the gestures took some getting used to, and I still struggle with a few
of them, but that's me and not the OS!
We upgraded both our phones from i phone 4's to the 5C, 32 g model. IOS 7 does
run a bit faster on the new phones, but we didn't play around
YOu might look in vo utility under the braille settings while the display is
attached to your mac air.
You can also toggle between 8 and 6 dot mode, at least you can on my braille
sense, on the note taker itself. Not sure where that setting is on the apex,
though, as I don't own one of those.

Mark, my husband, is having problems with his mac. He keeps getting the
message "authentication has no windows". when this happens, the entire system
gets locked up and you can't do anything except restart by holding in the

In your vo utility, in the announcements tab, is there a choice for delay in
speaking the announcements? wonder if that's it?

Has anyone here successfully gotten ole aria to work?
I installed it yesterday and when I hit command o to open it nothing happens.
If this doesn't work, are there any other options for reading daisy files on
