I don't own an IOS device--just a little Macbook Air, and I want to read
iBooks from iTunes. Is there any work-around that will allow me to do this?
I can't even download a sample of a book--iTunes knows I don't have anything
but the Mac.

It you
muted all you audio by mistake, pressing either the F12 key (or Fn+F12,
depending on your setup), will take the volume back up.

You can find an archi

you do not really need to worry about losing messages if you delete the
account on your macintosh and then add it back in.

What happens if one subscribes to a podcast collection which already has
many episodes? How can I get all the past episodes to download now? Also, if
I start playing a podcast from Safari, is it automatically downloaded for
future replay or is it just a temp file which deletes once played?

No I have never had this problem. In fact my mail even from way back in
2010 is working fine and dates are showing correctly. How odd. Can anyone
else advise on this like checking tome zones and the clock in general?
Something might be off there.

I believe the easiest way is to go to the Dock, VO-D, and move past all your
applications and you'll find it there.
