Hi!
No, it is not. However, if you use Vommand-Option right and left, VoiceOver for
some reason announces the movement. Not sure why this is, exactly, since it
seems strange to me that two commands that seemingly do the same thing act
differently.

Hi Gordon,
I completely agree with you. I haven't personally experienced most of these
bugs people are reporting, so that could mean a lot of things including user
error, and the inability to understand how a feature works. One example is that

I have had a couple of weird things happen to me with the rotar too, but
quite rare.
I might treat myself to a new iMac next year, so hope they do not decide to
remove the optical drive from that too.

Hi Donál
I miss this button too. I don't quite understand why it has been removed, but
I'm definitely going to put it in as an enhancement request. It was really
handy when I didn't feel like talking to people. :)

Hi!
Yeah, the button is definitely there. I've done it, too, but it's kind of a
roundabout way of performing a clean install. The fastest way I've found so far
was to burn it to a DVD, then use Disk utilities on that DVD to format the
drive and install the operating system. Installing OS X
to skype about this? I have there direct email if you need
it.

It's worth pointing out again that the DVD option doesn't work on the server

Hi!
By the way, you can also use the VoiceOver commands to change the voice
directly from the Login prompt. This changes it permanently, at least for me.
To do this, simply use VO-Command-left and right arrow to switch between
previous and next speech attribute respectively, then hold
Hello Lynne,
New versions of the Mac Mini as well as the MacBook Air running 10.7 by default
come with what is called Internet Recovery. This means that, if you hold
Command-R after the startup chime, then click Reinstall Mac OS X from the
Utilities in the Recovery utility, the Mac should

Hi Linda,
If you don't want to read an email, and if you do not think the spelling
mistakes apply to you, you can always delete it. If the subject line isn't very

Hi!
I don't think anyone has mentioned this, but one of my favorite features in
under system PreferencesLid sleep. This, obviously, lets you control when your
Mac goes to sleep when closing the lid. I never have had the need to do this,
but it's still nice they added it.

Hello Donál
You can find this out by hitting Command-3 for conversation view. This also
works on Direct messages, in case someone wondered.

Hi Dane,
I'm a little confused by your subject line, then, since being aware would imply
we have to worry about something.
I will say that there are some bugs that should have been fixed before the

finally fix it.

Hi Chris,
One bug that comes to mind right now is that on occasion, VoiceOver fails to
detect web elements even when using either Web commands or the rotor, however
still detects them when navigating the page. A workaround is to either click a
link, or toggle VoiceOver.
A second bug is
Hello James,
These are not paid upgrades, and are downloadable. Apple refers to these as
