1. Hot cmd shift c from the finder. 2. highlight your flash drive. 3. hit cmd plus E.. This is actually the way I train my clients to use the eject thing as not all drives will show up on the desk top. You can configure as such, but I personally have my desk top not show any of my drives. > O

Hi all - I don’t know why, but when I connect my Braille note-taker to my Mac, it isn’t visible on the desk top as a mounted drive in the way that external USB drives are, and therefore I can’t execute a command e to safely eject it before disconnecting. consequently, I have now lost access to
