I have three questions about the dock.
1. Where is that script you can use to add folders to the dock? Apparently
I've lost it.
2. How do I move items around in the dock?
3. Is there a limit of items I can add to the dock?

Hi Jane!
I can answer the move items question!
When sitting on the item you wish to move just hold down option+command and
then use the arrow keys!
Vo will tell you the item your moving and what item your moving past!
I've got my doc on the left and use the up and down arrows to move items and vo
Thanks for explaining how to move items. It was easy. I'd done it before, but
it had been so long! Now I have y apps listed the way I like, except for
Launchpad, Finder, and Mission Control--they won't let me move those no matter
*what* I try.

And I cannot move my finder either!
I presume they are hard wired so people cannot move them!

Hi Jane -- I'm not sure about the Finder icon, but if you don't use mission
control or launchpad, you can remove them from the dock by highlighting them,
pressing VO+SHift+M to bring up the shortcut menu, and then selecting to remove
from dock.

I don't know if I wangt to remove them yet. I don't relaly understand what
they are for or how to access them. I keep dong so accidentally.

Well I've been looking around to find out about how many items you can add!
Nothing I've found says there is a limit!
And there is instructions to make the doc bigger or smaller if needed!
So [And I'm only guessing] the amount of items will be defined by the amount of
space you can give
Thank you. I didn't realize that command existed. There. Now my Applications
folder is right where it ought to be--in alphabetical order alongside the other
folders. :)
I tend to remove items from the dock that I don't use frequently, and that's
been all the stuff I downloaded from the App
