This came up recently, so I'll be quick.
I use a terminal version of rar I compiled for osx. You can find it at
http://www.softcon.com/mac/
I compiled it from available source for unix, and I'm fairly certain
I put it up as a universal binary, but if I didn't, let me know, and
I'll fix it.

Can you give me an outline of what your issue is then? I find that I can open
an archive using sArchiver and view the contents so I'm baffled at the moment.

I'm wondering what people are using to open .rar files on the Mac. It's not
often that I have to open them, so I really haven't had to think about this
