I hope they have a working address for
discworld; that's typically my mud of choice, but I couldn't seem to get mudder
to connect to it.

Not in the same way. You'd have to mute and unmute manually, and in any case I
think Lion makes things like the control key to mute the system voice work
properly. I've not run a Snow Leopard system in about a year, so can't help
much more I'm afraid.

If you're still running Snow Leopard, activities is not there. I am assuming

Hi Ian,
It's vo-F8 to go into VoiceOVer utility, and then the Activities section is
just one of the entries in the table there. It's pretty simple to add a new
activity, name it, and select the things to change with it and for what apps.
Yours,
Zack.

Hi Ian,
You can mute VO speech with an activity, which you can set to just trigger when
you're in mudder in VoiceOver Utility's activity's section. THere are many
groups of settings you can set in there, including whether VO speaks at all. If
you set it up right it will switch automatically, so
Yeah maybe you can email him also

Hi Mike and all,
As near as I can tell, you create a trigger in the Preferences window, on the
Triggers tab. The text you want to trigger on comes first, then a ~, and
finally the text you want to send in response. I could be wrong here, but this
is what it looks like from initial inspection. Yo
Yes he did but now I can not figure how to create a trigger

I'm actually having the same issue. I can't seem to review text on the
screen. I'll try the regular cursor keys instead of the VO keys. This has
been the only annoyance so far. You really have to be able to read the text if

Hi Mike,
I'm not sure what's going on there, the commands to review things which
scrolled off the screen work just fine over here, no matter how many lines I go
up. I use the regular cursor keys to do it, since they're a bit more flexible
than VO's. Can you explain a bit more specifically what h
