Yep, to each his or her own. I generally don't put passwords in emails and the
notes I take are no more or less sensitive than other emails I might send, so
fear of prying eyes isn't keeping me awake at night. With regard to copying the
text, I find it easy to perform a "select all," "copy," and

That's a novel use of E-Mail. Out of interest though, have you looked at Drafts?
It is a app with no need to ave and no folder structure. When you open the app
you are placed in a text area and you can type away to your heart's content.
You can exit the app and your draft will be saved

I use an app called notesy. It is the simplest app you could ever use. I have
been using it now for about 2 years to take notes in my classes. it's free and
and can be linked with dropbox. I know there are other options out there but
try notesy first and see what you think.
