recovery mode or option to allow booting from another drive want to work

a while. Ricardo Walker gave us

Something sort of similar, I've been having issues with that, I installed an
application known as boom which is supposed to I guess allow the raising the
volume, but it is seriously messed up my speakers and since the trial has
expired I can't get into uninstall it. I don't know what else to do

Hi Dane,
Have you tried a system reboot with the power button followed by R? I’d hate to
suggest it most of the time, but if VO absolutely refuses to start up again, it
might be worth doing. it sounds as though some process crashed unexpectedly and
the system is having trouble recovering to a

No I haven't tried that 1 yet but sounds a good idea, any steps I should take
once I get into recovery mode?
I did think about using Voiceover portable preferences, putting them onto a USB
stick and see if the Mac Mini picks those up.

Its most likely I'm doing something incredibly wrong smile but I am wondering
whether its at all possible that Apple have removed
Hi Dane,
Can you try to boot up your Mac Mini into safe mode? That's where you hold down
the Shift key when you power up and boot. Keep holding down the Shift key for
at least 15 seconds after you power up. Logging in under safe mode is not
accessible, because your Mac boots up under a

I've saved this for future reference, restoring from a backup now.
Actually the whole thing has been rather comical in several ways, the USB
keyboard wouldn't work on the Mac Mini because the Mac Mini had paired with
other bluetooth keyboards I had in the house, must have used these with the
