Something sort of similar, I've been having issues with that, I installed an application known as boom which is supposed to I guess allow the raising the volume, but it is seriously messed up my speakers and since the trial has expired I can't get into uninstall it. I don't know what else to do

I've saved this for future reference, restoring from a backup now. Actually the whole thing has been rather comical in several ways, the USB keyboard wouldn't work on the Mac Mini because the Mac Mini had paired with other bluetooth keyboards I had in the house, must have used these with the
