that is fantastic, i use name mangler so i will have a play. the problem is all
the seconds in the file names. i may have to go the slow way but i shall see.

I use name changer. You can put replacement text and have it go through and do
it all in 1 go, or do it the slower way. Go through the times and have it
replaced 5 minutes with let's say nothing and it will do that. There probably
is a better way but my brain is not thinking right now.

the reason i want to hide the extensions in this folder is because these files
are downloaded and the person who made them has put the time in the file name,
EG 1930 radio report 5min 4S.mp3. i wanted to get rid of all the times in the
file names without removing the .mp3 stuff with it.

you will want to know what opens them, at least that's why I have it, and I'm
from the doss days where I had to see them lol!
