Hello Caitlyn,
VO-j does not open the message. The message is already open as soon as you
navigate to it using VO. You cannot pass over a message without it being marked
as read as long as the preview pane is active.
I don’t know whether getting rid of the preview pane makes it easier to read
So vo j automatically opens it, then?
I never knew that!
would disableing the preview pane be easier for use with braille, do you know?

When the preview pane is there, VO users can’t leave any messages unopened as
just the fact of landing on a message, opens it. Without the preview pane, we
can choose whether or not to open a message.

pad commander is off. Press down on the track pad with one finger and stroke
down the track pad with another finger. This should drag the horizontal
splitter to the b
Ok. I brought my preview pain back just to see if I'd like it, but now that I
really know I don't like it, how do I make it go away? I tried double clicking
the horizontal splitter with no joy. I brought the splitter down to 0 percent
with no joy, even double clicking the splitter at 0 percent h
